ASIG BIM exists because we believe you shouldn't have to hire a full-time employee to get your architectural job finished.
We strive for providing a seamless production experience for architects, owners, and contractors. You don't have to worry about resourcing and can focus on each project as it comes in.
Our story
Andy started his career in construction working on a range of commercial buildings. This experience in construction gave him the clarity that quality drawings are critical to the execution of any building. He then moved to China in 2006 and started a design firm. The speed of China's development is a great experience for any young architectural designer but it's often at the expense of internal processes. He decided his mission was to build a team based on western methods and values yet leverage the speed and inexpensive labor rate of Chinese draftsman. After 10 years in business, ASIG BIM thrives on such a structure.

Founded by the USA based Andrew Sigfrids, we are a small agile firm with offices in Minneapolis and Shanghai, China. Andy is the visionary of ASIG BIM and is involved with every project and will guide the client through all project-related decisions.

Our Mission
Our purpose is to break the traditional mold of this industry by enabling technology to reduce your risk in how you get drawings done. If you are an architect that recently landed a new job and don't have the manpower in-house to get it done, you should be able to outsource that work without worry. We've adapted to industry trends and specialize in a range of BIM products like Revit, Inventor, Solidworks. Yet, we keep our eyes on the design using Lumion and A360 for renderings so you can focus on your part of the project and let us do the labor.
