Site Documentation
Understanding the existing site is the first part is the process of designing a great project. We can provide a BIM model as a simple replication from ower provide CAD drawings or go in to more detail by visiting project site and taking measurements. Deliverables include 3D spatial perspectives and a set of existing plan drawings indicating site critical elements.
Concept Design
Conceptual thinking is the root of making a great project for its a high level view of what is possible through a range of options. From hand sketches directly to BIM massing models is a great way to use BIM to calculate areas and see different massings. Revit is a very powerful tool to produce multiple floor plan options very quickly using existing blocks and templates.
Renderings
Renderings drive most decisions by both clients and designers so it becomes one of the most integral part of the design process. Every project we work on is modeled using proper standards in BIM giving us the ability to accurately and easily see realistic results of the design using supported software. From these images the design can be tweaked and re-rendered quickly until we get to the final result.
Design Development
The traditional method of producing construction drawings is using separate software from design visualization takes more time and often creates errors due to inconsistencies. This is usually compounded when the design changes. Our design developments drawings are generated from our BIM model resulting in a significant time savings directly after the design process and enables design changes without risk of mistakes.
Built-in Fixtures
Built-in fixtures are a very large part of a commerical interior project and usually is the single most time consuming piece of the design drawing process. We’ve broken this process apart using industrical design specific software that simultaneously links to the overall project model enabling more thorough engineer drawings and concurrent work flows.
Custom Furniture
Custom loose furniture is the most overlooked aspect of the interior design process due to the lack of experience interior designers have in industrial design. We have a team of dedicated furniture designers and with our roots in furniture design am proud to consider ourselves experts and ergonomics, manufacturing and design of loose furniture.
